HOW A HIRE WORKS
  • You call us, we will confirm availability and book the castle out to you. We do not double book our castles. We do not currently request a deposit from you. We will deliver the castle as agreed and we therefore expect that you will honour your booking. We will however call you 24/48hrs prior to your booking to confirm details.
  • We will deliver and install your castle.
  • We need to set up on grass and plug into an electricity point within 30 metres.
  • We will anchor the castle safely using specially constructed pegs.
  • The castle will be provided to you in a clean condition.
  • We will take you through the safety requirements and will explain our operating guidelines.
  • We will ask you to sign our hire agreement. We do prefer payment by cash as this speeds up the process (we often have multiple hires in one day and we don't want to be late for our next delivery!). For security reasons we may also request proof of address.
  • We will then leave you with the bouncy castle or inflatable slide.
  • After your allocated time finishes we will return, dismantle and leave within about 15/20 minutes.
Some additional advice about Bouncy Castles

Here are a few hints and tips to help you in your search for a reputable hirer and in a safe bouncy castle.

  1. Bouncy Castles and Inflatable Slides need to be supervised at ALL times by a competent person over the age of 18. We provide the required guidance when we set up the castle/slide. It if the hirers responsibility to ensure that this happens.
  2. When phoning companies regarding the hire of inflatables there are some things you should check.
    • Your supplier should have Public Liability insurance to a minimum of £5million pounds. This provides cover for the hiring company should the unit fail and cause injury for any reason. We also do advise customers to take out their own public liability insurance for their event..
  3. There should be an age limit specified when booking your castle. There are different types of insurance which are typically limited to under 14's. Zebedees has additional cover for people over the age of 14 for our Adult unit.
  4. Zebedees have sourced themed castles and inflatable slides. We want our units to make an impression - Our units are all safety certified.
    • We advise you to ask our competitors how old their castles are and if they are themed - there a lots of old castles out there!!!
    • We advise you to ask that the unit you are looking to hire has a current safety certificate.
    • We advise you to choose carefully and choose a reputable company for your bouncy castle and slide hire.
  5. For insurance reasons we typically only leave castles out until dusk. Please call us if you require a late night hire or wish us to leave the unit with you overnight - we are flexible but this requirement may incur an additional charge to cover insurance.
  6. During a hire the inflatable is the responsibility of the hirer, we expect the castles to be bounced on but we do not allow food, drink, party poppers, silly string, face paint, sharp objects, spectacles, pin badges etc. We also request that the units do not get wet, we can't stop rain but we would ask our customers to not put water from swimming/ paddling pools or water pistols etc onto our units. This is for primarily for safety reasons but also because this can stain our inflatables. We ask that the units are given back to us in the same condition that they were delivered. In the event that a unit is not in a clean condition there will be a £25 cleaning charge incurred.
